AWS Privacy Policy

Last Updated:

This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Fuel Capital ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our web applications, dashboards, connectors, and related services (the "Service").

The Service enables Digital Fuel Capital portfolio brands to securely connect their marketplace accounts-including Amazon Seller Central and other ecommerce platforms-so we can retrieve, store, and analyze operational data on their behalf.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Business name, contact details, and user account information.
  • Configuration settings for your brand, marketplace integrations, and dashboards.
  • Any information you send us directly by email or support request.

Information We Access Through Authorized Integrations

When a brand authorizes our application through Amazon Seller Central or another marketplace, we retrieve only the data permitted by the granted API scopes/permissions. This may include:

  • Order and transaction data (order IDs, timestamps, items, revenue, fees).
  • Catalog and listing data (ASINs, SKUs, titles, attributes, pricing).
  • Inventory, fulfillment, and returns data.
  • Performance metrics and operational data.

We access this data solely to provide analytics, reporting, and operational insights to the brand that authorized access.

Technical and Usage Information

  • Log data such as IP address, browser type, and access timestamps.
  • Device and interaction information about how you use our dashboards.
  • Cookies used for authentication, session management, and security.

How We Use Information

  • Service Delivery: Retrieve marketplace data, store it securely, and provide reporting and analytics back to your brand.
  • Cross-Brand Benchmarking: Create aggregated and anonymized insights across Digital Fuel Capital portfolio brands. No identifiable brand-specific data is shared with other brands.
  • Security: Detect, prevent, and investigate unauthorized access or abuse.
  • Support & Communication: Provide updates, respond to inquiries, and assist with technical issues.
  • Compliance: Meet obligations under marketplace developer terms (including Amazon) and applicable laws.
  • Improvement: Analyze aggregate use patterns to improve performance and reliability.

How We Share Information

We do not sell data to any third parties.

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Hosting, infrastructure, monitoring, logging, and similar tools required to operate the Service. All service providers are required to protect information and use it only for our purposes.
  • Aggregated Insights: De-identified benchmarking and analytics that do not identify any individual brand or marketplace account.
  • Legal & Compliance: When required by law or necessary to protect rights, investigate fraud, or respond to lawful requests.
  • Business Transactions: In the event of an acquisition or reorganization, with appropriate confidentiality protections.

Data Retention

We retain marketplace data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with applicable requirements, including Amazon's data protection and retention policies.

When a brand disconnects a marketplace integration or leaves the Service, we follow our internal data deletion and anonymization procedures, unless law or platform policies require longer retention.

Security

We use technical and organizational controls designed to protect data, including:

  • Encrypted data storage (at rest and in transit).
  • Restricted access based on role and need.
  • Audit logging and anomaly monitoring.
  • Secure credential and secret management.

While no system is perfectly secure, we continuously improve our security controls and comply with marketplace developer requirements.

User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal information.

Requests may be submitted to the contact email below.
